Tirana

Tirana is the capital and the largest city of Albania.The city is home to many universities and is the center of the political, economical, and cultural life of the country. Tirana is mostly surrounded by hills, with Dajti Mountain on the East and a slight valley opening on the North-West overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance.
Korca

Korçë is a city in southeastern Albania and the capital of the Korçë District. It has a population of around 105,000 people, making it the sixth largest city in Albania. It stands on a plateau some 850 m (2,789 ft) above sea level, surrounded by the Morava Mountains.
Shkodra

Shkodër is a city located on Lake of Shkoder in northwestern Albania in the District of Shkodër, of which it is the capital. It is one of the oldest and most historic towns in Albania, as well as an important cultural and economic center.
Vlora

Vlorë is one of the biggest towns and the second largest port city of Albania, after Durrës. It is the city where the Albanian Declaration of Independence was proclaimed on November 28, 1912. The city was for a short time the capital of Albania.
Founded as an ancient Greek colony in the 6th century BC by the name of Aulon and continuously inhabited for about 26 centuries, Vlorë is home to the Port of Vlorë and University of Vlorë as the most important economical and cultural city of southwestern Albania.
Berat

Berat is a town located in south-central Albania. The old town (Mangalem district) was included on the World Heritage List in July 2008. It lies on the right bank of the river Osum, a short distance from the point where it is joined by the Molisht river. It has a wealth of beautiful buildings of high architectural and historical interest.
Saranda

Saranda is one of the most important tourist attractions of the Albanian Riviera. It is situated on an open sea gulf of the Ionian Sea in the Mediterranean 2 nautical miles from the Greek island of Corfu. Near Sarandë are the remains of the ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Pogradec

Pogradec is a city in southeastern Albania, situated on the shores of Ohrid lake.This city is surrounded by hills on the southern and western side and the lake on the eastern and northern side of the city.
Durres

Durrës is the second largest city of Albania located on the central Albanian coast, about 33 km west of the capital Tirana. It is one of the most ancient and economically important cities of Albania. Durres is situated at one of the narrower points of the Adriatic Sea, opposite the Italian ports of Bari and Brindisi. Durrës is home to Albania's main port, the Port of Durrës, and to the newest public university, the Aleksander Moisiu University.
Gjirokastra

Gjirokastër is a city in southern Albania, lying in the historical region of Epirus. Its old town is inscribed on the World Heritage List as "a rare example of a well-preserved Ottoman town, built by farmers of large estate." Gjirokastër is situated in a valley between the Gjerë mountains and the Drino River, at 300 meters above sea level. The city is overlooked by the Gjirokastër Castle.
