Program

Day 1

  • Arrival at Mother Theresa International Airport of Tirana, where you will meet AlbTours.com representative.
  • Drive to Chateau Linza Hotel situated in the outskirts of Tirana.
  • Check in at the Hotel and depart for a traditional lunch in the city and a sightseeing tour of Tirana.
  • Stop at Tawian Restaurant situated within Tirana’s central Park.
  • After lunch at Tawian visit the National History Museum/and or The National Art Gallery situated next to Dajti Hotel.
  • Stroll south of  Scanderbeg Square on Deshmoret e Kombit Boulevard and visit communist relics and the modern trendy Bllok district.
  • Drive back to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
  • Overnight in Tirana.

Day 2

  • 6.00      Depart for Valbone.
  • 8.30      After arriving in Koman we get ready for the ferry trip across the lake. There is only one itinerary each direction Koman–Fierze & Fierze-Koman every day.
  • 9:00      We take the ferry across the Lake Koman.
  • 12.00    Arriving in Fierze we continue the drive following the length of the Valbona River up through the narrow valley.
  • 14:00    Arriving in Valbone we have lunch at the local restaurant.
  • 16:00    Accommodation: village/guest houses.
  • 17:00    Walk in the village.
  • 20:00    Dinner and overnight in Valbone

Day 3

  • 8.00      Leave Valbona and drive to the small town of Bajram Curri.
  • 10.00    Arrive in Bajram Curri. Coffee Stop at a local cafe and depart for Puke.
  • 14.00    Arriving in Puke we have lunch at a the restaurant of the Puke ex-communist hotel building recently renovated.
  • 16.00 – 18.00    Drive to Shkoder
  • 18.00 – 19.00    Check in at The Hotel
  • 19.30     Dinner at “Tradita” Restaurant in Shkoder.

 Day 4

  • 8.00      Depart for Vermosh.
  • 11.00     Short Stop in Tamare for coee/drink stop and continue the drive to Vermosh.
  • 13 30     Arrive in Vermosh
  • 14.00     Accommodation in guest Houses
  • 14:00     Lunch ne Vermosh
  • 17:00     Organized trekking in the deep alpine valleys of Vermosh
  • 20:00     Dinner

Day 5

  • 8.00      After breakfast depart for Shkoder.
  • 10.00    Short Stop in Tamare for coffee/drink stop and continue the drive to Shkoder.
  • 13.30    Arrive in Shkoder and check in at the Hotel.
  • 13.30 – 15.00    Lunch at Tradita Restaurant
  • 15:30 Take a walking tour of Shkodra.
  • 16:30     Visit Rozafat Castle in Shkoder.
  • 18:00     Depart for Lezha.
  • 18:30     Visit Scanderbeg Mausoleum in Lezha
  • 19:00     Return to Shkoder
  • 20:00     Dinner

Day 6

  • 8.00 – 12.30     After breakfast we check out and get into the minibuses that will drive us to Theth.
  • 12:30-13:00     Accommodation at the hotel or local kulla (guest houses). Lunch at “Frashnishta” restaurant or Carku family.
  • 14:40     Visit The Church & The Lock-in Tower

Day 7

  • 08:00 Depart for Tirana via Koplik
  • 11.00 Coffee Stop in Boge
  • 11:30 Depart for Vaini Lagoon in the outskirts Of Lezhe.
  • 13:50 Arrive in Vaini and stop at Diella’s for Lunch.
  • 14:00-16:00 Visit Diella’s family museum while lunch is served. 

Day 8

  • Depending on departure time spend free time in the city.
  • Drive to the airport.
